What used for ?

Cycloplegicedol is an eye drop, a solution that has cyclopentolate hydrochloride as its active substance, at a concentration of 10 mg/ml.

Pharmacotherapeutic group:
15.3.2 – Medicines used in eye disorders; midriacs and cycloplegics; anticholinergics.

Cyclopentolate hydrochloride is an anticholinergic agent, which has the property of blocking the muscarinic receptors of acetylcholine, giving rise to paralysis of the circular muscle of the iris and ciliary muscle. As a result of this action, pupil dilation (mydriasis) and accommodation paralysis (cycloplegia) occur.

Therapeutic indications:
Examination of the bottom of the eye; refractive examinations.
As a midriatic in the treatment of iritis, iridocylitis and choroiditis and uveitis.

How to use ?
